CEO Chosen to Manage Redwood Regional Medical Group

Santa Rosa – The Board of Directors of Redwood Regional Medical Group has chosen Wayne Fairchild as Chief Executive Officer after a nationwide search. Mr. Fairchild has been serving as Interim CEO since last August. He has over thirty years of progressive leadership experience in the health care field serving as the Vice President of Operations at Petaluma Valley Hospital prior to working with Redwood.

“After a lengthy and thorough search process, the Board is confident that it was already working with the best leader for our Practice. In these challenging times in health care, we are fortunate to have Wayne’s expertise and experience to guide us,” said Dr. Helen Collins, President of Redwood’s Board.

Before coming to Sonoma County, Mr. Fairchild was the CAO for the Maui region of Hawaii Health System Corporation which included Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kula Hospital and Lanai Hospital. Additionally, he was the CEO of Kula Hospital among many of his other administrative healthcare positions throughout his career.

Mr. Fairchild will report directly to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of RRMG and will oversee day-to-day operations of the medical practice.
